Steve’s first career was Agri-business in Hardinsburg, KY with Dobbs Seed and Grain Co. Steve worked in the business from the ground up ending as president and General Manager. Dobbs Seed and Grain started out in the seed processing business as KY 31 Tall Fescue was first released in KY. They expanded into the grain business in 1975 and expanded again into the fertilizer and agricultural chemical business in 1985.
Dobbs Seed and Grain was a family owned business and there was a desire to turn assets into cash. The business was sold in 1997 to Terra International from Sioux City, Iowa. Dobbs Seed and Grain succeeded in part due to Steve’s attention to detail and customer service. Real Estate seemed like a good fit, Steve became a Realtor® and The Dobbs Team was created.

Steve has worked with buyer clients searching for luxury homes as well as listing luxury homes. The luxury market presents its own nuances and Steve loves the challenge.  Steve has also worked with investors looking to buy rental property and finds their primary concern to be Return on Investment (ROI).

When Steve is working with listings, he stresses promotion. His primary interest is getting the home sold quickly with the least amount of trouble.  This is done with pictures, description, blogs, videos, and the ability to work with other agents.
